LEA-Specific Educator Licensing

USBE issues three types of licenses; 

• Professional
• Associate
• LEA-Specific

Bear River Charter employs 2 full-time individuals holding an LEA-Specific educator license in our middles school. 

An LEA-Specific educator license is issued by the state board at the request of our governing board that is valid for an employee to fill a position in the school if other licensing routes for the applicant are untenable or unreasonable. 

Both teachers have advanced degrees in their content area.
