Chelsi Funk
Kindergarten
Hi there, my name is Chelsi Funk and I love learning, discovery, and teaching. I am so excited to be teaching 1st grade this year at Bear River Charter and have previously taught preschool at the Migrant Head Start and kindergarten at Hillcrest Elementary here in Logan. I graduated with my B.S in Child Development from BYU-ID in 2011 and my M.Ed from USU in 2019. Teaching truly is my passion but when I can't be in the classroom, I love to be in my garden or out on a hike with my puppy. I love nature; flowers, insects, and all creatures great or small and if I can implement nature into my teaching, I will.
