My name is Miss Jo, and I am passionate about teaching and creating safe, inclusive, and loving learning environments for every child. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Social and Emotional Learning. I am deeply committed to Educational Psychology, and I am thrilled to bring this knowledge into my Kindergarten classroom at Bear River Charter School.

When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll often find me teaching guitar, ukulele, and vocal lessons; working to expand artistic opportunities for children in our community as the Art Camp Director for CacheARTS; or performing live music throughout the state of Utah.

I feel incredibly grateful to spend my days inspiring young learners and helping them grow—academically, socially, and creatively.
