I am excited to be part of the Bear River Charter School Community. I am a life-long learner and actively seek opportunities to study and learn more about best practices in teaching and school leadership.
I have served as an educator and administrator for over 20 years. I earned my doctorate in instructional leadership from Utah State University. Locally, I held the position of interim principal of Edith Bowen after having worked as their curriculum and assessment specialist. Before that I spent 12 years in various administrative and teaching positions in the Garfield and Iron County school districts. I also spent 6 years teaching undergraduate and graduate students at Utah State University in the department of teacher education and leadership.
